Our Housing Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations. He reports to our Director of Housing Services. The Senior Housing Officer works closely with both the Manager and the Housing Officers. We have three Housing Officers, who deal with applications, allocations, tenant participation and any tenancy issues. Each Officer has a designated area and the three areas are:
Working within the Housing department are three members of the Customer Services Team. The Customer Services Team provide administrative support to the Housing Officers and Housing Manager. Between them they are responsible for: rent administration, housing applications, transfer applications, tenant participation and all housing related queries. We have one Sheltered Housing warden who offers support to tenants living in Balaclava Court and Ty Bethania, which are designated for older residents. Our two Caretakers work together keeping our estates clean and clear from damage. The Customer Services Advisors (4) are the first point of contact for tenants reporting both housing and maintenance issues. In an effort to improve efficiency, they will endeavour to answer or act on your query at this first point of contact. Failing that, they will refer you to the relevant person in the respective department who will deal with your problem. We also directly employ a skilled carpenter who carries out repair works to the association’s properties. |
The Housing Services department comprises the Housing Department, Maintenance Department and Supported Housing Department. Our Director of Housing Services is responsible for the whole department.
We also have one Rent Management Officer specifically responsible for rent. This Officer is the first point of contact for anyone with queries about their rent, whether or not they receive help with paying rent.
